About Dave's Tree Service:
Dave’s Tree Service is a family owned business which specializes in the preservation and surgery of all species of trees. We are also equipped for the removal of large hazardous trees located in small confined areas.
David Hughes Sr. started the company in 1936 just before the start of WWII, and it is now run by his grandson and current owner David Hughes Jr.
We provide all phases of tree surgery from the most delicate pruning to the most extensive cavity and structural supporting, from the smallest limbs to the largest take downs, we provide it all with the pride and respect associated with a family owned and run company.
Having served both Ulster and Dutchess Counties for nearly seventy years we are proud of our repeat customer base. Dave’s Tree Service provides inspections of trees, identifying both species and potential hazards to the homeowner free of charge. We are fully insured with both liability for the homeowner and compensation for our employees. We provide 24hr emergency service during all types of storms.
